The Opera

Well Friday, Sarah and I took Kevin and Carlton to THE OPERA!! :) Recently we have all talked about doing more CULTURAL things. So a couple of months ago Sarah and I saw that the opera was going to be having Cinderella (it was a 1930's adaptation and it was in Italian). So we got tickets and told the boys we had a suprise for them. Of course that was until about 3 weeks ago when Kevin and I were just driving around and we were talking about our busy weekends...and I was like yah, we have the football game this weekend, and Alabama next weekend, and then the opera, and then blah blah blah. Then Kevin said...ohhh the opera, huh? CRAP!!!! So I spoiled it. But we kept it from Carlton. Although he's a snooper and was looking up what it could be.

So we got all dressed up and went to dinner at Cheesecake Factory and then headed to the opera. I enjoyed it. It wasn't the best opera I've ever seen, but it was good. The Long Center is GORGEOUS!! Kevin enjoyed himself but I dont think it's really his cup of tea. But he said if you ever want to go to another opera, then I want to go with you!!! Isn't he wonderful ;) !!!
